I am using the simple but spectacular appliqué maple leaf pattern I designed, published and is posted on www.quiltsofvalour; in response to quilters who saw it on the cover of The Country Register, November / December 2012 issue & requested. Our injured military and veterans truly appreciate the quilts that they can curl up with. The quilted hugs mean a lot to them. A dear friend of mine who is very ill with cancer has given me her Juki machine and told me the gift comes with no strings attached but she would like me to consider sewing quilts of valour. Of course I will sew quilts of valour! I am a soldier's wife and know of some soldiers to sew for already. Her gift has spurred me to work faster at it. :) I am so sad that she is no longer able to sew though. I made a quilt for a soldier I know last summer who is forever changed after his experience in Afghanistan. It was the highlight of the year for me as far quilting goes. Have a Merry Christmas! :)Anitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13126307820923149514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3877375933241075828.post-68742235206483988702013-12-23T13:43:38.168-08:002013-12-23T13:43:38.168-08:00left you a review on Itunes and liked you on Faceb...left you a review on Itunes and liked you on Facebook.
