Welcome to the Tuesday Preview. This week on episode 11 - I'll be talking all about the importance of labels. Quilt labels can range from a simple signature to several pages of detailed info, but no matter which way you draw it up a label is a MUST HAVE for any quilt.
Canadian Quilt Talk Episode 11 - Mark my words!
(the Importance of a Label)
Whether you've made a baby quilt, an art quilt or a bunch of placemats for your sister, a label can add great value to the person who owns the quilted item for years to come.
Here's a quick and easy label made with permanent fabric pen and shiva paint sticks for a scrappy beach blanket that we used all summer at the beach.
Do you have a special way that you always label your quilts or is it different every time? Do you have a story about how your quilt label saved the day? I'd love to hear it in the comments! You could be the next winner of the Quilter's Corner!
Speaking of that . . .We have a winner for this week's Quilter's Corner - Holly McLean. And whenever I have a winner who has a blog I love to mention it here, so be sure to visit Holly at her Nature Art blog! Congratulations Holly! You win the INKSATIONS Table Runner and Screen Printing Kit provided by Brandy Lynn Designs.
Until next time . . . dream big and work hard in the studio . . . with Canadian Quilt Talk!
