Tuesday Preview CQT Episode 33

Fabric Dyeing - The Basics

Have you always admired the gorgeous hand dyed fabrics you see online and in quilt shops, but never ventured into making some yourself? Join me this week for Episode # 33 of Canadian Quilt Talk as I explore the basics of fabric dyeing. We'll talk about the tools you need, some simple techniques and how to care for your fabric once it's dyed.

And the Kristy's Quilt Project is well underway. Thank you so much to every single one of you who has backed the project. But we've only just begun. Now's the time to share, share, share! Be sure to tell your friends how easy it is to take part! And contact me if you're interested in having me as a guest blogger. I can also send you a template of little info cards to print to hand out to your guild or even just a group of friends. I'm so proud to be able to share this heartwarming story with little quilters-to-be all over the world.

And speaking of sharing quilting with a younger generation - now for the winner of our weekly Quilter's Corner…

Congratulations to Amy Reitzl  who submitted a sweet little story about how she learned to quilt from her mom and the sweet connection they still have to this day. Amy has won this gorgeous hand dyed gift package by
 Susan Purney Mark.
