Scrumptious Smoothie Recipe

This week on the CQT podcast I mentioned our favourite smoothie as a part of eating healthy food choices rather than, chips, cookies and junk food. So here it is….



1 cup of ice
2 apples, peeled and chopped
2 bananas
1 cup frozen fruit (strawberries or mangoes)
1 cup of fruit juice (your favourite -we love mango)
2 heaping tbsps rainbow sorbet

Place it all in a blender in that order and blend until smooth. For no sugar you can replace the sorbet with yogurt or sugar free ice cream - but with my family, this is a winner every time.

Eat well, feel well!

  1. We bought ourselves a Bullet for Christmas to eat/drink more vegetable/fruit drinks. Yesterdays mix of greens, carrots, pineapple, grapes was palatable but yours looks much better:)
