Day 28 of 42
I did a lot of work on my bead challenge today, although there is not a single bead on it yet. I am posting that instead of my forest landscape because the base quilted piece is finished and ready for beaded embellishments and I wanted to show you the before and after. So this is the before of the bead challenge. I'll post the forest landscape after I stitch it a bit more and finish the edges. I basically sketched the design, picked a fabulous batik fabric and then stitched away. I thought it was a bit thin after the first line of design was stitched so I stitched the entire thing again and with the circles I stitched a few layers to make it look thicker and the effect was great.
